The weekend has arrived, but you've got nothing planned? Why not try something new to break away from your daily routine? Why not attempt an adventure sport? Yumping.co.uk gives you the opportunity to discover new activities to enjoy alone, as a couple, in a group or with family!
One of these trendy sports: Paintball - come splatter your mates, release adrenaline and experience something tremendously entertaining!

But sitting at home in front of your computer, one question remains: Will those little paint pellets hurt me? Is it really worth playing paintball if I'll be suffering afterwards?
You should know that this activity doesn't hurt and carries no risk. Proper equipment will be provided to ensure full protection for sensitive body areas: masks and overalls are essential! And to these fundamental items you can add: gloves, chest protectors, knee pads... For optimal protection.

In its sporting version, two teams of 7 or 5 players compete to capture a flag from the opposing base and return it to their own within a time limit. A player is eliminated when hit by a pellet, and like in any sport, some fundamental safety rules must be followed:
- Most importantly: On a paintball field, you never remove your mask or any protective gear! An enemy could be lurking... But statistically, paintball is less dangerous than football, where falls, injuries and fractures... occur far more frequently.
- Another fundamental rule: Don't shoot at opponents within 8 metres! For everything else, follow the referee supervising the game who'll give you advice beforehand.
- Finally, to minimise the impact of paint pellets, we recommend wearing extra layers under your overalls. When properly equipped, a pellet impact is momentarily noticeable but forgotten straight away!

In conclusion, stop overthinking it and come try paintball at one of the many centres in your area - there are plenty of occasions: family days out, stag or hen parties, corporate events, seminars, club gatherings...
