The windsurfing world is celebrating as the advertising partnership between sports footwear brand Munich and athlete Anna Blanch has just been announced. The brand is associating itself with windsurfing for the first time by becoming one of the main sponsors of the young athlete, who ranks among the top nationally.
Through this collaboration, Munich is supporting one of Catalonia's athletes with an impeccable track record. At 27 years old, she's been windsurfing since she was 13 and already dreamed of turning professional back then – after all, who wouldn't want to make a living from their greatest passion?

Anna Blanch is incredibly fortunate to live in Hawaii, the ideal place to practise and improve her wave-riding skills. For the rest of the year, she splits her time between the magnificent island and her hometown, Barcelona, where her family lives. However, she couldn't sustain herself through windsurfing in Spain, admitting there aren't enough opportunities and the market is very challenging.
In an increasingly female-dominated sport, she plans to continue her current path with sponsors like Desigual, Naish and now Munich. Their support allows her to keep doing what she loves most.
Her youthful, competitive, dynamic and fresh image aligns perfectly with Munich's philosophy that embraces trends, innovation, comfort and quality. As an established brand in sports and fashion footwear, Munich is now set to become a reference in the windsurfing world.
Since 1939, the brand has been crafting sports footwear, initially for handball, futsal and boxing among others. But recently, the Catalan brand has carved a niche in streetwear fashion, achieving significant growth not just nationally but internationally.

Over the decades, the unmistakable X logo stamped on every trainer has become registered in over 40 countries. It has evolved into a symbol of leadership and prestige, defining style each season:
- Fashion: The standout models are Goal, Acropol, Roc, Joc, Axi and Offside.
- For children: Mini Munich and Mini Acropol lead the range.
- For babies: They too can sport trainers with the Baby Goal model.
Undoubtedly a powerful alliance where sport and fashion join hands. Anna Blanch will proudly wear her new trainers, and the windsurfing community warmly welcomes this new brand into its ranks.
