Welcome to Monkey World
We are an animal rescue centre specifically dedicated to monkeys located in Wareham outside Bournemouth. We help stop animal smuggling and abuse throughout the world. We specialize in saving and rehabilitating monkeys taken from inhumane conditions throughout the world, and now boast the largest group of monkeys outside Africa. We offer keeper talks in the afternoon that allow you to see the monkeys being fed in our comfortable enclosure.
If you would like to get a better look at how the monkeys live and are cared for, you can take a guided tour. Take note though that you need to schedule tours in advance. We also do birthday parties, corporate events, and weddings.
We are the centre pictured in Animal Planet's Monkey Life tv show that documents the struggles and rewards of rehabilitating abused monkeys.
