Tips if you are going to do Whale Watching in Mexico

The watching of whales is an activity you can enjoy all over Mexico, thanks to the gray and humpback whales live on our beaches, in search of warm waters to reproduce and carry out the process of birth. They can be appreciated during the season that goes from the 15th of December to the 15th of April, so, seize these months to appreciate these amazing and biggest aquatic animals in the world. There exist different tour options that you can share with the people you love the most. What are you waiting for?

1. Gather your whole family and live together this experience.



To observe a whale of this magnitude is a lifetime experience, something you probably can do only once, so share it with those people you love the most and to remember together this incredible moment, it doesn’t matter the age you have, from babies to seniors can come and experience it.

2. The boats are comfortable.



Whether you go to a motorboat or a ship, you will go comfortable whilst appreciating natural sights, feeling the ocean fresh air, sunbathe until reaching the area where the whales can be seen. Even some modes of transportation are designed for people that suffer incapacities… You can ask about these and more the moment you are trying to book this adventure, so when you arrive there, everything will be ready.

3. Are very amicable, meaning there are not dangerous.



Despite you will be watching the biggest animal on earth, these are unoffensive, amicable and do not generate any risk. Anyhow, there exists a restriction when talking about approachment, this to protect them too and not cause any damage to the watercraft. Even then, you will watch them really near!

4. There doesn’t exist a specific show. Each day is different.



The difference with another animal watching, like the birds one, or even dolphins, this show is not actually planned, meaning you can get surprised when watching these enormous whales altogether as you can only spot two. These tours take place in the already mentioned dates, since that way we can assure that at least, you’ll see some. Although, you can enjoy a greater quantity by carrying out a great jump. Just enjoy and let yourself go!

If you want to meet this incredible activity and enormous whales, you can do it from the second week of December to the second week of April in Los Cabos and La Paz, and if you are in the City of Mexico and don’t want to travel much, in Ixtapa, Zihuatanejo is the ideal place for the watching. You can also find offers in Huatulco and Sayulita, where people have appreciated whales of 16 meters in length.
