Where can I do a Jet Ski Safari in Tenerife?

- In the southwest of the island, you will find one of the most popular places in Tenerife, Playa de las Américas. In this place, there are 4 different locations where you can ride a jet ski. From 20-minute rides or rentals in Playa de la Torviscas, to longer periods of 40 minutes and 1 hour. But if you really want to get to know the area and reach other parts of the island, we suggest the 2 hour and 2 and a half hour routes, both departing from Puerto Colón and heading towards the cliff area of Acantilado de los Gigantes. A specialised guide will take you to discover this natural wonder that is shaped in the form of rocky walls with different reliefs in the town of Santiago del Teide. As the route is quite extensive, a picnic will be included to recharge your energy halfway along the route.

- Another place you can't miss during your stay in the south of Tenerife is Adeje since, in addition to its beautiful and wide beaches, you will have the opportunity to feel the speed in its purest form riding a jet ski across the sea. In this case, the instructor will take you to visit some of the nearby caves and coves and, if the weather and conditions allow it, even to the island’s ‘hippy beach’. If you want to make the most of your jet ski ride, with the 2- and 3-hour routes, you will be able to visit the different caves, coves and cliffs of Tenerife’s west coast, reaching interesting spots such as Punta de Tena or Los Gigantes. Furthermore, with the motorbike you will be able to reach places that are inaccessible with other types of vehicles or boats.

If you want to extend your route up to 2 hours, you can enjoy the sea turtles that live in La Caleta and, in addition, the instructors will lend you the snorkelling equipment so that you can enjoy a swim with these endearing animals, and of course, enjoy its beautiful seabed. And if you want to enjoy half a day of jet skiing, the route is completed by paying a visit to the cliffs of Los Gigantes. As it is a 3-and-a-half-hour route, you can also stop for a swim in the open sea and snorkel if you want with the fins, snorkel and goggles that the instructors will lend you.
