What to expect from a hen or stag do activity
A hen or stag do activity is something the whole group does together, usually for one or two hours before the evening plans. The most popular are team games like bubble football, laser tag and airsoft, where you split into teams and play rounds against each other, and challenges like axe throwing, archery and clay pigeon shooting, where everyone scores points and the group ends up with a winner. For something calmer there are surfing lessons and party bikes through the city centre.
Many venues offer packages built for groups, with a private session for your party, and some combine two or three activities in one booking, like archery with a team challenge or a giant swing. There are also weekend packages with several activities over two days. Group size matters: many activities need a minimum number of people, so check that yours fits before booking. Summer weekends are the busiest dates, so it pays to book early.
