Company Overview

National Museum of Anthropology located in the Polanco area in Mexico City is in charge of studying, exploring and promoting the care of each of the pre-Hispanic pieces that have been beech forests in different parts of the country. Visiting it you will find more than 20 exhibition rooms where you can learn and learn more about the different indigenous cultures that have inhabited the country.

You can visit us from Tuesday to Saturday at a time that will start at 9 in the morning, closing at 6 in the afternoon. We have a general rate and discounts for those over 60 years of age and those under 13 years of age, another special offer for those who present their student or teaching credential. On Sundays, you can have free access to the museum if you present your national or resident ID in Mexico.

Another benefit that you will have when visiting the National Museum of Anthropology is that you will have a couple of free guided tours with unique hours at 10 AM and 12 PM. Book and be sure to visit our gastronomic room where you can taste history through original and unique dishes.

The museum has 2 floors, level 1 houses a large collection of archaeological elements among which you will find pieces from cultures such as the Zapotecs or Mixtecs, inhabitants of Oaxaca. You will also find sculptures from the Teotihuacans and the Mayans, you will notice the difference in each of the sculptures and vessels that you observe.

On the upper floor you can walk and appreciate the ethnographic collections, you will be able to notice pure art in its maximum splendor, fabrics, paintings and fabrics. Inside the museum we also have temporary exhibitions so during your visit you can find an interesting new topic developed by current artists.
