Introduction to windsurfing on the Golden Islands - 1h30

The Port-Cros National Park is the oldest marine park on the European continent, with a marine area extending over more than 2,500 hectares. It is located in Hyères, in the Var department and gives you picturesque panoramas, which will leave you speechless. You can now discover them thanks to this activity that we are making available to you.

This is a combination of two nautical leisure activities which complement each other perfectly: a boat trip accompanied by an introduction to windsurfing. The latter is a water sport of sliding which will give you thrills and provide you with unparalleled entertainment. In the heart of the Mediterranean, you will appreciate this initiation and acquisition of new skills, which will further consolidate your spirit of adventure.

With a state-certified instructor, you will have all the right techniques to carry out your activity successfully. You will learn more about controlling, handling and adjusting sails, but also about how to keep balance and have good posture throughout the activity. He will give you a complete briefg to assist and advise you. He will also discuss the safety rules necessary for a trouble-free adventure.

The windsurfing activity will take place in the heart of the Var coastline, from a catamaran on which you will have panoramic views on the horizon and on the Golden Islands. You will take a ride aboard the catamaran, in the company of a skipper who knows all the most interesting corners of the area.

The departure will take place at the port of Hyères. You will be welcomed and briefed there, then you will have access to the catamaran. Once you are in an area suitable for activities that depend on the wind, you can begin your activity with the instructor. You can do this session in the morning or during sunset, depending on your desires and availability.
