Our meeting point will be our office in Marina Vallarta where we will board our boat with a maximum capacity of 6 people that will take us to the key points to meet these majestic beings. Banderas Bay becomes the winter home of humpback whales every year, they migrate to the warm waters of the Mexican Pacific to feed and reproduce. During the tour you will be able to see them jump, flap their tails and flap their wings and, most impressively, hear them sing and communicate through a hydrophone... A spectacular adventure!
Our guides are specialized in the study of these animals and will share their knowledge about their behavior, migration, mating rituals, breeding, feeding, among other aspects. That is, not only will you be able to observe them and be close to them, but you will also learn a lot about this species. You should know that they are beings that are totally harmless to humans and even the boat can get close to them so that you can see them very closely without any danger.
The whale season is from December to March and this tour takes place on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. We recommend you bring biodegradable sunscreen, sunglasses, light clothing, a long-sleeved shirt and of course your camera.
