Whale Watching in Ojo de Liebre Lagoon 3 d

The first thing you should know is that whales can only be seen in the Mexican Pacific between the months of February and mid-April,so we recommend that you plan well your dates so you don't miss the opportunity to live this great experience. Whales migrate to Mexico in search of warmer waters for mating, birth and raising their calves.

Our tour consists of a tour of three days and two nights in Guerrero Negro, during which we will do various activities, visit points of interest and we will make sure that you enjoy them to the fullest, the main activity will of course be the sighting of gray whales.

During our first day of adventure we will go to La Lobera, natural habitat of seals and sea lions, here you will see spectacular landscapes and you will be able to contemplate these beautiful animals, then we will go to the town of El Rosario to enjoy a delicious meal at the famous Mamá Espinoza restaurant. In the afternoon we will visit the Baja California desert where we will be able to see different types of endemic cacti. We will spend the night at the Hotel Cowboy or Terra Sal in Guerrero Negro.

On the second day of the tour, we will take a tour of the Ojo de Liebre Lagoon, considered a refuge area for whales, to observe them. They are very friendly so they even come out so we can touch them, the feeling of having them so close, touching them and seeing them in their natural habitat is unique. During our journey we will be able to observe part of the flora and fauna of the area such as sea lions, dolphins that usually accompany the whales on their journeys. The ride lasts approximately 3 and a half hours.

Afterwards we will go to La Salina, the largest salt exporter in the world, where we will also be able to observe a large number of species of migratory birds. We return to Guerrero Negro so you can enjoy a free afternoon before returning the next day.
