We offer you an ideal itinerary to begin this fabulous discipline. The route mixes hiking and climbing to allow you to introduce yourself to this new activity gently. You will be able to familiarize yourself with the verticality of the cliffs without any fear. You will be very well supervised and all the equipment necessary for practicing Via Ferrata will be provided to you by us.
You will carry out an approach walk of around ten minutes in order to reach the start of the activity. The course takes place in two parts.
The first lasts between 1h30 and 2h. This is a pleasant hike at altitude. This will allow you to contemplate idyllic landscapes from a breathtaking view from the top of the hills. You will cross rocky mountain passages. The Brèche du Téléphérique will stand in your way, as well as the Demoiselles footbridge which will require you to demonstrate your balance to along the cliff over its 25 meters long. You will then have the choice between two paths. Depending on your comfort, you can continue on a quiet routeor venture into the rocky cirque of Fer à Cheval, more aerial and more difficult. If you choose this option, you will have the opportunity to cross a high beam.
You can either join the second part of the activity directly or take a short break in the car park.
The second part of this via ferrata hike takes place in the forest. Adventurers will encounter typical crossings of the via ferrata. Between rocky passages, bridges of various kinds, beam to cross, and abseilingof 20 meters, you you won't be lacking in sensations and adrenaline! After 3 to 3.5 hours of journey, you will finally be free to return to the car park.
Your instructor will be present throughout the hike to accompany you and help you overcome obstacles. He will share his advice and experience with you. You will be able to debrief with him at the end of the activity about your feelings, what seemed simpler or more complicated to you and how you experienced the course.
You canjoin us in Bussang, more or less an hour's drive from Mulhouse or Épinal. Take with you comfortable clothing and suitable shoes, possibly a bottle of water and a small snack, and let's go!
