Via ferrata La Mulatica in Andilla Advanced Level

We are talking about a via ferrata, this time, in Valencian lands, in the municipality of Andilla, in the region of Los Serranos. Here we will undertake a recently constructed advanced difficulty crossing that will take 2 hours to complete and consists of 150 meters.

To get to the beginning of our via ferrata we will go to the Valencian town of Andilla and we will follow the signs that are at the entrance of the town, we will take the exit on the right until reach a track that guides us to Fuente del Señor, where we will park and begin from here the Andilla Ferrata, also called the La Mulatica Ferrata.

We will do the via ferrata of La Mulatica without having to organize anything, since you will have all the necessary material and you will always be guided by an expert mountain instructor. Once equipped and after receiving training on the itinerary, we will prepare to explore the La Mulatica Ferrata, where the most improbable and adrenaline-inducing challenges await us.

We will begin the Mulatica ferrata by overcoming a flat plate of about 15 meters. We will climb this large wall using the steps provided for this until we finally reach a comfortable ledge. We will walk 5 meters and that is when the truly exciting part begins, because we will find the Ledge of the Figa ta Tía, which will eventually lead us to the lying plaque of the Egyptian, another climbing section which will make us gain height and allow us to glimpse our next challenges in the distance, a hanging bridge 25 meters long with a 40-meter drop.

When overcoming some strong falls is when we will finally be lucky enough to be able to cross this hanging bridge that will make our pulse accelerate as we contemplate the surroundings from the heights and overcome this 40-meter-high precipice. When we cross the Mulatica ferrata suspension bridge, we will find ourselves in front of a singular and curious smooth wall of reddish tones.

From here the end of the Mulatica via ferrata begins, where we will ascend a vertical wall that will give us the best views of the municipality of Andilla since we will have to overcome steps collapsed and unbalanced, so, in addition tolandscapes, we will have an exalting mountain challenge to overcome just at the end of the ferrata.

For the return, we will leave the Mulatica via ferrata behind us, we will go down to the left and cross a simple, well-marked path that will end up leading us into a ravine. From here we will follow another path that will eventually leave us at Fuente del Señor.
