Via Ferrata El Chorro in Álora medium difficulty 4h

We have prepared a truly unique via ferrata for you through the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes Natural Area, next to the emblematic Caminito del Rey, where we will carry out the strong>ferrata of El Chorro, which will take us 4 hours to complete and is located in the Málaga municipality of Álora, belonging to the guadalhorce valley region . A via ferrata of K3 difficulty full of exciting challenges that we can even do with the little ones who are at least 14 years old and as long as they are accompanied by an adult.

For this ferrata of just over 2 and a half kilometers and with a slope of 195 meters, you will have all the necessary materials, and our professional mountain instructors will accompany you at all times.

Once we have equipped ourselves and receive the instructions from the guides, we will prepare to begin the El Chorro Ferrata in a very exciting way, ascending a vertical wall that will then lead us to cross a quarry, to which we will have to walk very carefully since in this area the stones are usually loose.

After overcoming this section, another large vertical wall will wait for us to overcome it by climbing it and once we have overcome it, the El Chorro Ferrata will reward us with a hilarious moment of adrenaline, since we will have to overcome a section of the route with an exciting zip line 30 meters long, ideal for subjecting our body to a great rush of strong sensations.

When we have overcome this part, we will continue the El Chorro via ferrata with more energy than ever, since the zip line and the desire to encounter the other challenges that await us will automatically motivate us. And it is no wonder, because after that, we will continue ascending until we find an impressive Tibetan bridge. The best of all is that, immediately afterwards, as we ascend, the fun will also increase, since we will find a monkey bridge that will give us panoramic views of the town of Álora strong>unbeatable, from where we will see with privileged eyes this charming little town full of white and impeccable houses.

From here our descent begins with a lifeline until we reach a section that we will have to descend by rappelling, from an intoxicating height of 25 meters, or continuing along the via ferrata itself. . Once we have passed this part, we will return along a perfectly signposted path that leads us to a watering hole that surrounds the entire peak through which the via ferrata takes place.The Chorro. We will continue until we eventually come to a path that ends in a parking lot near the ferrata.
