Who has not ever imagined making a robot like those that appeared in some legendary films in the history of cinema such as C-3PO from Star Wars or Wall-E from the Disney fable? We adults are dead with envy at the possibility that is presented to children aged between 9 and 12 years old, who will be able to build your own robot with this wonderful course.

To do this, we will have to learn things about robotics and programming, since, from the conjunction of both, it will become something feasible to handle it as we wish. With the first, they will teach us some basic concepts of this discipline and how to assemble arobot with certain characteristics.

The second branch, programming, is what helps us govern the robot in question thanks to an associated Micro:bit board, in turn, to a motor control board. Likewise, they will use MakeCode (a block language very similar to Scratch) to manage the start of the 4 motors that drive the movement of the > mobile robot Yahboom OmniWheel.

The final result? An authentic robot made up of a total of 146 blocks of pieces, 4 motors and 4 special omnidirectional wheels. The latter are called Meccanum and allow the robot to move diagonally or rotate around itself 360 degrees. When you see it completely assembled, you won't believe it.

Yes, you will have been able to conceive a robot that also incorporates a HuskyLens, something as exciting as an intelligent camera that is attached to the robot and has the function of detecting objects, colors and shapes. According to this premise, knowing how to use this device will lead to greater levels of improvement in carrying out certain image tracking or tracking tasks.

A major surprise since we will be working with one of the most powerful advances in recent years, which we adopted in this fabulous 5-day workshop, taught daily from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. :00 in the afternoon.
