Introduction to piloting the ULM to Lyon 1/2 day

This is an introduction to piloting a ULM. For half a day, all the secrets and all the piloting techniques will be revealed to you, thanks to the help of a team of professionals, who will take care of you upon your arrival. You will end your adventure with a better knowledge of the field of air sports, which fascinate all adrenaline seekers and thrills.

It is in the town of Cessieu that all this will take place, at the Tour-du-Pin Aerodrome. You will have expected this from your pilot and instructor for the day. The latter being a former French champion in his field, he is the perfect instructor to teach you the good basics and techniques of this type of flight. Needless to say, the latter is experienced, as he has more than 30 years of experience in air flights.

Once you have made first contact with the pilot, you will begin your first learning phase: theory. You will therefore have at your disposal complete documentation, presenting the types of aircraft, their characteristics and their particularities. The instructor will talk to you about it in more detail, in addition to providing you with more information regarding air regulations, weather conditions and their analysis, as well as technical elements of a theft.

In addition, you will get a close look at the aircraft that are available to you and that you will be able to fly, including the Autogyro ULM and the Multi-axis ULM . Furthermore, depending on the pilot's explanations and advice, you will choose one of these two aircraft to fly with and pilot.

As soon as you have assimilated all the theoretical information, it's time to practice. You will sit in the pilot seat who will sit behind you, equipped with your approved helmet and your suit and gloves (if necessary), to proceed with the takeoff. The latter will take place at the same aerodrome. You will be in double control, so that yourflight is as secure as possible. You will spend an hour in the air. You will fly over splendid places in the department of Isère, namely thelake of Aiguebelette, that of Paladru, castles and typical villages of the area, as well as the Château Virieu and Bas Curieu. A fascinating moment where you will experience thrills caused by open-air flights.

Your introduction to piloting will end when you land at the Tour-du-Pin Aerodrome. Once your feet are on the ground, you will have a debriefing. You will talk about your feelings. The pilot, in turn, will give you his final comments and advice, then will issue you with a "DRIVER FOR A DAY" certificate, designed by the company.

Your flight will be immortalized by a video that we will deliver to you before you leave on your micro SD card.

• The gyroplane you can fly is the Magni M16 Expert Rotax 914.
• The multi-axis ULM is the Aeroprakt A-22 model.
• This activity is reserved for adults.
• Throughout the year, it is possible to do this initiation to piloting.
• Given the low temperatures at altitude, bring warm clothing.
• Bring an 8GB micro SD card.
• It is not possible to do the activity if your weight is greater than 100 kg, for reasons ofsecurity.
