We invite you to come with us to explore this mountainous area of Friuli Venezia Giulia with an incomparable charm that will leave you speechless. We will cross the area until we reach Cima Sappada, a mountain 1292 meters above sea level which is part of the Carnic Alps.
The idea is to meet at the Borgata Bach, at the information point, where one of our specialists will be waiting for you to start the adventure. Before starting, you check the equipment needed for the experience. You will have to bring your own snowshoes and poles or rent them in our center for an additional price of 8 euros. The important thing is to be prepared for maximum enjoyment.
Afterwards, the general rules of this wonderful sport will be explained to you in Italian, French or Slovenian. Finally, we will do the actual walk in the forest. This snowshoe hike is perfect for all family members aged 12 and up because it is not difficult at all. You will find the area to be easily accessible.
Along the way we will make stops to appreciate the surrounding mountain ranges and to show you the footprints of the animals that live in this area, as the richness of the fauna is impressive.
We work from late December to March, so choose your day and start the best night adventure of your life. You will be in the company of the stars!
