This is a snowshoe hike at night, allowing you to have fun and experience types of hikes in a new way. Thanks to this, you will discover the Cerdagne, right in the middle of the Pyrénées-Orientales. Snowy natural wonders will reveal themselves to you off the beaten track and will give you the opportunity to get away from it all and relax.
It is in the town ofFont-Romeu-Odeillo-Viathat we are waiting for you to do this fantastic activity, more precisely from a parking lot called theparking du Menhir. On site, the instructor will already be there to welcome you and arrange transport to the departure site. This will take place at 4 p.m., which gives you plenty of time to witness a splendid sunset between the peaks of the Catalan Pyrenees.
Arriving at the departure point, you will have a briefing by our instructor. He is a state-certified mid-mountain guide and passionate about his region, which he will not hesitate to help you explore. He will then give you a briefing to explain the operation and use of snowshoes, as well as instructions for staying safe. It will then be time for you to start walking.
With a positive altitude difference of 200 m, you will walk on snow-covered paths and discover the Cerdagne at dusk, where you can even come across the fauna of this natural region!
At the end of your hike, our instructor will offer you mulled wine to taste, as a comfort after the effort. It is an activity that you can do even with your children from the age of 8 and enjoy it as a family.
