We invite you to come and discover the pleasures and adrenaline rush of a snowmobile ride. This will allow you to discover, in addition to this winter sport, the fabulous landscapes of the Orcières Merlette resort, an unmissable ski resort of the Hautes-Alpes. Even if it's not your first visit to this resort, you will discover it from a new perspective at sunset.
Snowmobile riding is in fact only authorized after the ski slopes are closed to the general public, for the safety of all visitors. It is for this reason that departure does not take place until 5 p.m. and therefore allows you to benefit from an exceptional experience, where the sun's rays will mix their colors with the sparkling white of the snow. You can even opt to do it after dark at 8 p.m.
You will be welcomed by a state-certified instructor who will give you a briefing on the operation and piloting of a snowmobile, but also the safety measures and the rules that must be respected. He will then give you a safety helmet and you can board the vehicle.
You will then begin your hike and you will be amazed near the Écrins National Park. Then head to Orcières for thrills and unparalleled conviviality. The town is located 40 minutes from Gap and an hour by car from Embrun.
Good to know:
- You must hold a B license to be able to pilot the snowmobile.
