This parachute jump takes place at the Péronne Haute Somme Aerodrome, in the town of Estrées-Mons. 15 minutes from Péronne and 1 hour 15 minutes from Lille, this airfield is the closest area where you can do your parachute jump if you are in Paris . Indeed, because of its proximity to Orlyand Charles de Gaulle airports, it is impossible to make a parachute jump in the Paris region.

As soon as you arrive at the airfield, you will be greeted by a skydiver and instructor, who will introduce you to the premises, then take a few minutes to explain everything that is extremely important to know. He will talk to you about safety measures, but especially about the positions and actions to take when exiting the plane, during free fall and just before >landing.

Then, he will give you aharness which you will put on before getting into the plane, where the instructor will attach you to him and his two-seater parachute. The takeoff will finally take place and the plane will take you over magnificent landscapes, which you will be able to admire for around twenty minutes, until it reaches the altitude of 4000 m. strong>.

This will be followed by the opening of the aircraft doors, then the tandem jump, with the instructor accompanying you. You will be in free fall for around fifty seconds, before reaching an altitude of 1500 m, allowing the parachutist to open the two-seater parachute. Once under sail, you will move on to the most peaceful part of the jump. For 5 to 8 minutes, you will be able to admire the landscapes of the Somme and enjoy the silence and tranquility of this little walk. If you feel capable of taking control of the parachute, the instructor will let you do sofor a few minutes, before taking the reins again, so that the landing takes place in good conditions.

• Comfortable, casual attire is strongly recommended.
• Remember to wear warm clothing, as it is very cold at 4,000 m altitude.
• Flat shoes/sneakers are also recommended.
• To be able to do this tandem jump, it is mandatory that your weight does not exceed 90 kg.
• The minimum age to skydive is 15 years old. Parents or legal representatives of minors must provide them with parental authorization and an identity document, which they will bring with them on the day of the jump.
• A medical certificate offered by the FFP must also be brought. The latter must demonstrate that you have no contraindication to the practice of jumping inparachute.
