PAC Initiation parachute jump near Amiens

Have you already had yourparachute jump experience? What are you waiting for to take your first jump without being attached to an instructor?

We offer you a PAC initiation jump, to give you the chance to experience skydiving differently and to experience thrills > completely different from those of the tandem jump. You will be able to jump (almost) independently, without a harness that binds you to a second person.

You will be amazed by the activity, but also by the beautiful landscapes of theSommedepartment which will present themselves under your feet. Indeed, this initiation jumptakes place in Péronne Haute Somme Aerodrome. Two hours from Paris, this airfield is the closest place where it is possible to skydive around the capital.

Procedure:

• As soon as you arrive, you will be taken care of. One of our instructors, who are all state qualified, will take care of training you in a classroom, in order to provide you with all the information necessary to this jump. He will tell you about the parachute, detail all its parts and help you understand their uses. He will show you the best way to fly the canopy, the position to have during the free fall and the landing, but above all the strong>safety instructions. This training will take an average of 5 hours.
• Before the parachute jump, you will have your equipment that you will need during your jump. You will be given a jump suit, as well as protective glasses, a parachute and an altimeter.
• You will board the plane with two instructors who will accompany you during the jump. The doors of the plane will open once it reaches 4,000m altitudeand you will jump with the two instructors, in free fall for a just under a minute.
• During the free fall, the location of the two instructors is crucial, as they will keep you safe. One of them will hold you by the harness of your parachute, to help you maintain stability and therefore your safety. The other will be in front of you, speaking to you with sign language, trying to give you feedback so you can correct your posture during the fallfree.
• At 1500 m altitude, you will open your parachute to make a slower and more leisurely descent. At that point you will be guided remotely by the instructors, using a radio. You will then arrive on dry land, applying the instructors' advice for landing.
• Your parachute jump will be fully filmed, so that we can see you during the jump and be able to comment on it and make constructive comments, with your instructors.

Good to know:

• The minimum age accepted is 15 years old.
• A parental certificate is mandatory for minors.
• The price must not exceed 90 kg.
• You must present a medical certificate stating that there is no contraindication to the practice of jumping. This must come from the French Federation ofSkydiving.
