Introductory parachute jump in Tournes 2 days

Our offer is an introductory parachute jump, so that you can do your free fall independently. But don't worry, you won't be alone. Two instructors will accompany you with their own equipment and parachutes. The jump takes place from Ardennes Etienne Riché Aerodrome, in the town of Tournes, in the heart of the Ardennes. It is only 20 minutes by car from the city center of Charleville-Mézières and an hour's drive from Reims.

When you arrive at the airfield, you will find an instructor to welcome you. The latter is a state-certified skydiving instructor. He will therefore be your guide and your first supporter. He will give you a briefing to explain how the instructor works, then begin theoretical training. It lasts all day and you will learn all the techniques necessary to know how to position yourself during all the stages of your jump, as well as all the basic notions you need to know. During this training, you will be able to ask all your questions, you will have the full attention of the instructor.

You will then be ready to make your parachute jump. Once the plane manages to stabilize at an altitude of 4,000 m, you will be able to jump and begin your free fall. Two instructors will be at your side (but not in tandem), in order to be able to intervene in the event that there are necessary corrections, in terms of gestures and your positions.

Once you have reached an altitude of 1,500 m, you will open your parachute. From this moment on, you will be guided by radio by your teachers, with the aim of making your landing in the best conditions. A debriefing will then take place with your instructors, in order to take stock of your strengths, but also your areas for improvement.

Good to know:

• The minimum age to take this initiation jump is 15 years, with parental authorization required.
• Weight must not exceed 95 kg to be able to do this initiation.

• If you wish to do this introductory jump, you will need to plan two consecutive days, the first for theoretical training, then the second for the jump.
