If you've never ridden a Segway, don't worry! Your instructor will supervise you and help you in case of difficulties. The pace of the ride is moderate (maximum speed of 16 km/h) and may be adapted to your level.
You will see the beautiful facades of Notre-Dame de la Treille, the Vieille Bourse, the Nouveau Siècle, the Zénith strong> as well as all the other aspects of this city which has kept so much from previous centuries. The essential sites of Lille will be shown to you by your guide-instructor passing through the Citadelle Park in Euralille.
Activity sequence:
- We will meet you at the Pont Du Petit Paradis in Old Lille. You will be warmly welcomed by your guide-instructor with whom you will get to know. He will provide you with the equipment: segway and protective helmet. Afterwards, he will give you a briefing on the safety rules, how to ride the Segway, traffic and route instructions.
- Then, you will do a 15-minute training session to learn how to drive in a safe environment before going for a ride. Your instructor will teach you how to master the device and operate it comfortably.
- Let's go for the ride! Discover Place François Mitterrand, the Vieille Bourse, Old Lille, the Citadel Park and many other emblematic places of strong>Lille.
Good to know:
- The activity is accessible to children aged 12 or over.
- The minimum weight to practice this activity is 45 kg and the maximum weight is 118 kg.
- This tour is not accessible to pregnant women and is not recommended for people who suffer from inner ear disorders.
- People under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
- We advise you to arrive 15 minutes before your activity time.
- Please dress comfortably: casual and appropriate for the weather. Consider wearing flat shoes thathold the feet.
