When you reach a certain level of diving, it is essential to take the Emergency First Response course, that is, first aid. In fact, for some degrees it is a necessary condition to have completed it.

Now you can do it in our Tenerife diving center, which is located in Las Galletas.

Thanks to the EFR you will learn the most correct way to act in the face of a series of unforeseen medical events that may occur during dives, although its usefulness goes far beyond the scope of diving.

We are going to teach you basic life support and cardiopulmonary resuscitation, with rescue breaths (without being professional level).

Optionally, you can also be trained in the use of an automatic external defibrillator (AED).

We will teach you how to act in the event of shock, a possible spinal injury, how to use barriers to try to block the transmission of diseases, etc.

You will also learn about the equipment used for first aid.
