As a PADI Equipment Specialist, you will be prepared for basic maintenance of diving equipment and the care and adjustments that you will encounter every day. Additionally, you will learn interesting background information about how your equipment works, how it is repaired, and other information that will help you when making the investment in your equipment.
This course will help you become more comfortable with the equipment, have greater performance with it and how to take care of it correctly. Our course consists of the following parts:
- Review of the theory, principles and operation of autonomous diving equipment.
- Learning about routine, recommended care and maintenance procedures as well as equipment storage.
- How to overcome common equipment problems and maintenance procedures recommended by professionals (a demonstration of repair procedures may be included).
- Get simple tips for comfortable equipment setups and an introduction to new equipment.
