Deal overview

Do you want to become a professional diver? The Open Water Diver is the introductory scuba diving course offered by PADI. After obtaining it, you will be able to dive in the open sea and go down to no more than 20 meters deep, always accompanied by a divemaster or diving instructor. You can dive wherever you want!

Basic theory of autonomous diving: the objective is for you to understand what factors affect us when we dive and how we adapt to them to control them. You will also learn about the different components that make up autonomous diving equipment, the reason for its use, its maintenance and its handling. We work in a swimming pool in Villanueva de la Cañada.
Pool dives: to learn how to handle the equipment and get used to its use. On these dives, you will learn diving techniques such as mask emptying, air sharing, signals to communicate underwater. You will also begin to master the basic technique of diving: buoyancy.
Open sea dives: you will do open sea dives where, under the supervision of our instructors, you will perform and put into practice the exercises learned in the pool. The internship will take place in Dènia.

Requirements to obtain the Open Water Diver:

Be 11 years old.
2 passport size photographs.
Medical certificate certifying your physical ability to dive.
Pass a multiple choice theoretical exam of 50 questions.
Pass practical tests in the open sea.

What does the activity include

Didactic material: Book, table, diving log, PADI stickers...
Pool dives.
Dives in the open sea.
Heavy diving equipment: Suit, jacket, regulator and bottle.
Diving insurance.

Not included:

Light equipment: Mask, fins and snorkel.
Transportation to coast.
Accommodation on the coast.

Our courses take place on the weekend. Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 to 15:00.
