Do you like diving activities because you love marine life? Now you can satisfy your passion by visiting the Atlantic Museum located in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote. For 45 minutes you can swim among petrified sculptures in the only underwater museum located in Europe (there are only two in the world). Our diving center located in Playa Blanca will be the meeting point to carry out this activity. There we will give you the material necessary for the experience and we will provide you with some instructions on how to use it. Then we will travel by van to the dock, from where we will take a boat to take us to the museum.
An authorized instructor will guide you through the most important areas of this spectacular installation by British artist Janson deCaires Taylor, which is 15 meters deep. Once submerged, you can contemplate how nature mixes with the pH-neutral works of art, which aim to create a large artificial reef.
Furthermore, since the construction of this museum, the biodiversity of the area has increased, you will have the opportunity to see up close schools of barracuda, sea sponges and octopuses that move freely through the sea.
