Through a mixture of theory review and pool skills sessions you'll learn what it's like to dive using the complete tec diving rig with either a backmount or a sidemount for an extra single stage/decompression cylinder.
You'll receive 3 knowledge development sections and practical application sessions, plus 4 open water dives focusing on the function and maintenance of tec diving equipment, calculating accelerated decompression stops using EANx or pure oxygen, and planning and executing repetitive decompression dives.
You must be 18 years of age, with a minimum of 50 logged dives and have completed the Tec 40 PADI Course in order to qualify to enrol.
Supplementary equipment is provided, and the diving centre also sports heated changing rooms to provide comfort for all. All you need to bring is your scuba gear and a towel!
