Our 1-day course at Holborough Lakes, Snodland, Kent, consists of theory review sessions that allow you to learn all the necessary theory and practical applications of providing emergency oxygen. You'll acquire knowledge on different dive injuries, types of emergency oxygen equipment and safety considerations, and how to recognise diving related illnesses.

Not only that, but the practical applications include assembling/disassembling emergency oxygen equipment, deploying non-rebreather masks and demand inhalator valves, and using a pocket mask in emergency situations.

This is not only for divers, but also non-divers, boat crews, lifeguards, or shore staff. Furthermore, there are no prerequisites or age restrictions - if you've got a strong willingness to help people, then you're more than welcome!

All equipment is provided, and the dive centre has heated change facilities for everyone's convenience.
