Our Master self-management course in solo or small crew is intended for those who want to be prepared for all possible failures and harsh conditions that may arise during navigation. It will teach you to be independent in the different phases of navigation.
The course is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part, simulating equipment breakdowns, unusable instruments and will touch on the important topic of engine or instrument failures to enable you to act promptly in every situation and avoid accidents and damage to property. and people on board.
During the course you will learn to moor both English and stern mooring alone and without help and to prepare the boat for these manoeuvres.
Important points will be clarified for you such as what to always have on board before tackling any journey or before a simple outing (French cones, electrical cables and reserve pumps).
An absolute novelty is added to this course: the solo man overboard recovery maneuvers, with particular attention to how to exploit the autopilot to maneuver, reduce the sails in solitary navigation, GPS / plotter how to interface them and how to prepare a route, the radar and its alarms and much more useful for your navigation.
