Have you always wanted to get started in the world of rafting but do you think that prior experience is necessary? We have the ideal tour for you. We will take you to explore the Micos River in the Huasteca Potosina, known for its exuberant natural destinations that allow us to carry out activities surrounded by beautiful landscapes and be in direct contact with nature.
Our meeting point will be Ciudad Valles at 9:00 am to leave for the adventure. If we pick you up at your hotel, we will send you the pick-up time with your final itinerary when making the reservation.
We will begin our journey towards Ejido el Platanito where we will go to the Pago Pago area and begin our Rafting adventure. Before starting the descent, we will give you a talk about the rules and safety measures of rafting.
Once on board your raft, we will row for 10 kilometers, but you don't have to worry since the descent is class II, this It means that physical activity is low and therefore no experience in the activity is required. It is a tour full of fun and adrenaline and also for you to enjoy the natural beauties that this magical place offers us. This activity can only be carried out in the rainy months from July to October.
The Micos River is one of the most beautiful in this region, it has 7 waterfalls that allow for intrepid sports such as rafting, it is surrounded by rich vegetation that gives us spectacular views while we make the descent.
Our specialized guides will be by your side at all times so that you feel safe while doing the activity, and we will also provide you with the equipment necessary to carry it out. At the end of the tour, we will offer you a delicious food typical of the region, necessary to regain your energy.
We do not recommend the use of denim or cotton clothing as they take a long time to dry, it is better to wear shorts and t-shirts made of another material, wear tennis shoes that you can get wet or closed sandals, a cap, towel and small backpack, ecological insect repellent, biodegradable sunscreen , a change of dry clothes, if you wear glasses please attach them to your head with some kind of headband so that they do not fall during the tour, and if you have long hair it is important to tie it up.
