Those with a sense of adventure go white water rafting, but those with an addiction to adrenaline go white water bugging!

This is the sport of descending a rapid river in an individual, armchair-shaped inflatable. It’s one of the most exciting things you can do, especially if you join us on the River Tummel in Perth and Kinross.

We meet outside Pitlochry, in the Linn of Tummel car park. Up to twelve people can come on each trip and this is the price for under 16s, who can join groups with adults. Our expert guides will brief the group on the activity then distribute equipment. We give out helmets, wetsuits, life jackets and webbed gloves - you’ll use these to try to control your descent!

The activity lasts three hours. There are rapids and waterfalls on the route, as well as calmer areas. When we’ve finished, you’ll need a towel and some dry clothes and shoes to put on.

We run trips at 9.30 am and 1.30 pm daily from March to October. Get in touch when booking and we can secure your preferred date.
