This is river tubing, the hair-raising activity of racing down a rapid river in an inflatable doughnut. It’s similar to white water rafting, but you have an individual craft. It’s fast, fun and full of action.
We go tubing on the River Leven in the beautiful Scottish highlands. The waters of this river run off the mountainsides and tumble down towards the sea in a series of rapids and falls.
For 3 hours, you’ll have to hold on tight as you crash, splash and spin downstream. You’ll have a trained instructor with you, who’ll deliver a safety briefing when the activity starts and then guide you down the river.
The instructor will give you all the equipment too. This includes the inflatable, a wetsuit, a helmet and a lifejacket. You need to wear a swimsuit and lace-up trainers and bring a set of warm clothes to put on afterwards.
The price is for adults over 16 years of age, with no prior experience necessary. We also have an option for children so you can enjoy this activity as a family.
