You can ride a quad bike, one of the most powerful and versatile vehicles out there, with us on a 360-acre site in South Wales. 45 minutes is the perfect amount of time to get to grips with the controls and enjoy yourself!
The session will start with a safety briefing and then a practice session, in which a qualified instructor will hold a safety line that can cut the power to the quad. When they’re satisfied that everything’s okay, it’s time to have some fun.
We have a special track for quad bikes, with twists, turns and plenty of mud along its 150-metre length. We can have groups of up to 5 children, aged 7 to 11, whizzing around this circuit on Yamaha bikes.
Our outdoor activity venue is just a stone’s throw from Cardiff, southeast of Pontypridd. Our quad bikes are never far away!

1h Junior Quad Biking (7-11yr) in the Taff Vale
Deal overview
Children can ride quad bikes at our venue from the age of just 7 years old. We have child-sized quads, a special 150-metre track for youngsters and safety procedures in place to make sure that it’s a fun experience. For those over 11 years old, see our adult quad biking opportunities.
This session is overseen by a qualified instructor. After a safety briefing and saddling up, your son or daughter will start to drive with the instructor holding a safety line. Once they’ve got the hang of it, they can head for the track.
The 1-hour session takes place at our large outdoor centre and working farm, set in the Welsh Valleys near Pontypridd. If you’re coming from Cardiff, it’s just a short journey up the A470.
We have special Yamaha quad bikes for children and can take groups of 2 - 5 children on these activities.
