Quad excursion to Capo Vaticano 1h

Departing from Tropea, you can take part in an hour-long quad excursion through the countryside of Capo Vaticano.

It is suitable for everyone, even beginners, and will take place in groups led by an expert instructor who will lead the way at all times, on mixed roads, between asphalt and dirt roads, visiting the deepest and most naturalistic hinterland of the Coast of the Gods.

Once the time has been established, we will meet and, after registration, and a short briefing on the use of the quad and the route that will be followed, we will set off to discover the territory of Calabria.

You will travel along a secondary asphalt road and you will arrive at a panoramic point that divides the Capo Vaticano Coast from that of Joppolo and, after taking your best photos from the viewpoint, we will climb towards Monte Poro up to the town of Coccorino to enter the ancient country paths up to the Saracen watchtower Torre Marrana, from which you will have a complete view of the Ruffa valley up to the Aeolian Islands and an amphitheater with its museum.

Remember that to drive it is essential to have a B driving license. Whether you decide to come alone or with a passenger, the price does not change.

In Tropea you will be able to take part in an unmissable quad excursion which will take place between the sea and the mountains, allowing you to miss nothing, absolutely nothing, of the evocative surrounding landscape.

Once the starting point has been agreed, before boarding, you will be given a short briefing on the simple use of the vehicle and the route will be illustrated, after which we will set off towards the hinterland of the spectacular Costa degli Dei, always accompanied by the expert trailblazer guide.

This two-hour tour is recommended for those who already have some familiarity with this type of riding, having to tackle various types of trails. We will start on an asphalt road up to a panoramic point from which you can observe the division of the coast of Capo Vaticano from that of Joppolo. After taking the photos you will climb Mount Poro until you reach its top where you can take deep breaths and observe the beauty by which you are surrounded from above, the view reaches as far as Sicily and the Islands Aeolian.

You will then cross a pine forest overlooking the sea and then join the paths of Monte Poro going back down to the valley. We will visit the hamlet of Lampazzone, a hamlet of the municipality of Ricadi where, after a tour of the countryside, we will descend into the Ruffa Valley.

The last stop on this exciting quad tour will be the Saracen watchtower Torre Marrana and after admiring the view from here we will set off again towards Tropea passing through suggestive alleys which coast the blue sea of Capo Vaticano.
