Paragliding flight Ascent to Col de la Forclaz 25min

In the heights of Haute-Savoie, come and discover the free flight ascent, to fly over the Col de la Forclaz, one of the most popular sites exceptional views of Europe. You will see a panoramic view of Lake Annecy and the mountains that surround it for a takeoff at 1240 m strong> altitude. The flight duration will range from 20 to 30 minutes of pure freedom and fascination.

The flight over this sublime landscape which surrounds Lake Annecy will leave you with unforgettable memories, allowing you to admire the extent of this region towards your landing at Doussard. An area of natural and green landscape which overlooks the Plage du bout du Lac, a protected beach which preserves its beauty and charm despite the large number of people who frequent it.

You are welcomed at the flight departure meeting point, on the Doussard paragliding landing strip, where the instructors will give you a super friendly welcome.

You will benefit from their few short instructions as part of a briefing, to get into the context of the flight and understand the importance of weather conditions for this activity. At the same time, you will be able to familiarize yourself with the safety instructions to adopt during the flight.

The course ? On board your paraglider, once ready for departure, you will gain momentum to assist your instructor with takeoff and fly over these sublime landscapes.

For those who don't know it, Lake Annecy is located in Haute-Savoie, in the Alps. It is known for the purityand the transparencyof its water: this lake was born from the melting of ice . Indeed, it is bordered by numerous mountainsand massifs such as the Bornes massif to the east. The lake measures 14.6 kilometers in length and 3.35 km in width. This is the ideal flying location to take in the views!

We are waiting for you at Route de la Plaine at Doussard, where our instructor will take you to the take-off location. The usual takeoff location is theCol de la Forclaz. Located on the heights, it is the optimal take-off site to have a breathtaking view of Lake Annecy. Once you arrive at the take-off site, your instructor will brief you on the behavior to adopt during the activity and the safety instructions to follow. He will equip you and place you in a small harness for optimal comfort.

After a little speed gain, you will fly like a bird in the air. You will move above the lake, along the cliffs for maximum sensations. Throughout the flight, your instructor will take photos and videos using a GoPro. After having had your fill of change of scenery and rejuvenation, you land at a place provided for this purpose in Doussard.

Here, your guide will help you remove your equipment, then you will view the photos/videos together and you will be able to debrief on this unique experience. You will of course leave with souvenir photos and videos of this activity!
