Spring and summer are the good times of year to do an activity that gives us unique sensations. We give you the opportunity to do it in our paragliding baptism in Islares just a few kilometers from Santander.
The activity will take place in approximately 1 hour. During this time you will participate in the process prior to the ride. That is, you will be able to contribute to the assembly of the paraglider and thus learn more about this sensational way of taking to the skies.
Once everything is ready, you will take off and be flying between 7 to 10 minutes.
From the height you can enjoy the views of Islares from the sky and its port, the beaches of Oriñón and Sonabiá, you can see Cape Cebollero, better known as the Ballena, see from not far away the vulture nest on the coast of Griffon Vulture in Candina and further away Mount Buciero de Santoña.
This beautiful coastal town is located just 20 minutes from Santander, so if you live or are passing through the capital Cantabra, it is a small car ride that will give you great benefits. In addition, the route to the municipality of Castro Urdiales contains great scenic value, the journey will be very short.
