Who said we couldn't combine a mountain biking route with a visit to pulque haciendas? From Mexico City, we will take you to see these spectacular sites in Hidalgo, so set aside a whole day, which will be a very fun adventure.
This route will be led by a guide specialized in culture and adventure sports. It will take us to the best tour, where we will be filled with culture and learn both history and the process of making this drink, which has become an icon of our country; the pulque. We will begin pedaling from the Hacienda de Venta de la Cruz, which we will have previously toured and known.
We will continue rolling and our next stop will be Arcos del Padre Tembleque. Halfway along the way, we will reach a place where those known as "Tlachiqueros" will explain and show us the preparation of pulque, as well as its tradition. Don't lose your attention, he will say many interesting things!
Along with the sunset, we will head with the mountain bikes towards theHacienda de San Antonio Tochatlaco. Again, we will leave aside the bicycles, to enter this site and see its facilities. This will be the end of the adventure and we are convinced that you will want to repeat it.

This journey will begin when you arrive at the Hacienda de Venta de Cruz, once there the tour begins pedaling towards the Arcos del Padre Tembleque, a route in which you will see some old buildings, who are silent witnesses of the passage of time. This mountain bike expedition will be magical since you will be traveling around 70 kilometers.
Towards sunset, we will begin to arrive at the Hacienda of San Antonio Tochatlaco where, thanks to a guide, we will learn everything about this place. We will tour its gardens, facades and corners. At the end of the visit, we will enjoy a delicious dinner, before going to rest and sleep. Because it is a 2-day adventure, we include accommodation in one of the hacienda's bedrooms.
In the morning of the next day, we will begin the second part of this adventure. We will head towards the Hacienda of Santa María Tecajete, to visit and get to know it. Next, we will arrive at the Casa Grande de Zempoala, which is It is located in the center of the municipality. To close in the best way, we will pedal to the Hacienda Venta de Cruz to enjoy an exquisite banquet, which will make us regain our strength.
