90 min orienteering course at Lac de Castillon

If you want to live an exhilarating experience full of adventure and thrills, you've come to the right place. An unusual activity, which nevertheless is very fun and entertaining.

This involves spending 1 hour and a half doing an orienteering within a group. We are talking about a timed activity, which consists of following a route in the middle of nature using a compassand a map, in order to to find as many tags as possible. The latter is done aboard a canoe-kayak, in the Lac de Castillon, a piece of paradise on earth. Being located in the Verdon Regional Natural Park, between the two charming villages of Saint-André-les-Alpes and Saint-Julien du Verdon, you will be in a magnificent setting within the Verdon gorges, and you will be able, in addition to enjoying this fun activity, to visit this picturesque place with its emerald waters and its green nature.

There are 3 routes:

You will have the choice to choose the route that you prefer the most.

You will start at Lac de Castillon, where the instructor will give you a briefing to familiarize you with the rules of the game, the handling of the equipment and the safety instructions to assimilate. He will then pair you up to win the race with a teammate. You will then have your equipment (canoe-Kayak, paddles, compass, mapand life jacket ). It's time for you to start a surprising adventure in a magnificent setting.

The objective is to spend a whole day doing an orienteering in a group. It is a timed activity, in which you follow a route through nature using a compass and a map, with the aim of locating the no more tags possible.

This orienteering race takes place on the boat of a canoe-kayakon the Lac de Castillon, a truly heavenly and picturesque corner .

Located within the Verdon Regional Natural Park, and particularly close to the two delightful Provençal villages of Saint-André-les-Alpes and of Saint-Julien du Verdon, you will be ideally placed in the middle of the Gorges du Verdon, and will know, in addition to having fun, appreciate this idyllic setting strong> with emerald reflections and preserved vegetation.

It is possible to choose between 3 routes:

You will start at Lac de Castillon, where the instructor will provide a briefing to inform you of the race instructions /strong>, the handling of the equipment and the safety directives to be applied. This will then divide you into pairs to race with a partner. You will then collect your equipment (canoe-kayak, paddles, compass, mapand life jacket).
