Private Karting Grand Prix of 35 laps in Sheffield

Sheffield is not only a university city, but it's also the place to practicse karting and experience high-speed races. We have a private karting Grand Prix style race that will take you from 0 to over 45 miles per hour in a few seconds.

That speed is thanks to our British-made BIZ 27OCC Karts which are powerful, safe and easy to use. And where will you use them? On our fantastic fully floodlit outdoor 470-metre track, of course!

The event takes place in 3 stages - a 10 lap practice stage, a further 10 laps for qualifying, and, finally, the 15 lap main race. Our advice is: do your best in the qualifying stage to earn pole position, but save some energy for the big event, because you'll have to channel your inner Fernando Alonso to end up on the podium!

This is a competitive activity for groups of 10 to 16 people, where everyone will have fun despite a bit of friendly competition.You should arrive at the track 30 minutes early, in order to get everyone signed in and equipped with the centre's helmets, driving suits and other pieces of kit. The exact duration of the race depends on how fast you can drive!

Anyone over the age of 8 years old can participate in this activity, so it's fn for the whole family!

45 laps sound great, but they sound better when you can enjoy them at our 470-metre track in Sheffield, the popular city of the University of Sheffield and one of the greatest venues in South Yorkshire to do motorsport activities.

This is what karting is all about. With this session, you can come on your own and be added to a small group of 10 to 16 people and, right after we have provided the safety briefing and all the equipment that you will need, you will have a first training lap to get accustomed to the vehicle.

And what kind of vehicle is it going to be? Well, you'll be driving a BIZ 27OCC, a model that is made in the UK, and which can reach almost 70 kilometres per hour in a few seconds. After that first lap, you will have a further 10 laps to warm up, then 15 qualifying laps to decide who gets to pole position, and finally the 20 laps that make up the main race. Will you race to victory and to get to the number 1 on the podium? If you do, you will celebrate with a bottle of champagne just like an F1 driver on the TV. 

To take part in this adventure, you need to be over 8 years old. Experience is not required, because you will soon discover how easy to drive our karts are!
