Endurance Karting for Groups in Sheffield for 1.5h

Karting is fun, but kart racing is better! That’s why we’ve put together this group karting race which involves a full 90 minutes of driving on our fantastic 470-metre outdoor track in Sheffield.

The competition is fierce in this event, as 5 teams of up to 3 drivers each go head to head to see who’s the fastest. But it’s not just about speed - in this kind of race, endurance and teamwork are the real keys to success.

The session begins with a safety briefing, which covers the rules of the track, racing regulations, and the tips on how to effectively switch drivers at the changeovers. Next, you’ll be issued with your safety equipment - a driving suit and a helmet. Finally, you’ll be introduced to your team’s kart - a BIZ 270 CC petrol engined machine.

When everyone’s ready, it’s time for qualifying. For 15 minutes, you’ll compete for pole position with your opponents, before lining up for the main event - a 75 minute endurance race!

This activity is open to groups of 10 to 24 people, provided that every member is over 8 years old. So bring your family, your friend, or your workmates - and see who’ll be spraying champagne at the end of the day!

The action takes place on our 470 metre outdoor track, with teams of up to 4 people sharing top of the range BIZ 270 CC racing karts. These machines are capable of reaching speeds of up to 45 miles per hour, so just imagine how many laps your team will complete in 2 hours!

With 6 teams in total, the competition is fierce. For that reason, the event starts with a safety briefing, where everyone will be instructed on the correct way to use the karts and the tracks and given safety equipment - a helmet and a driving suit. Then, there’s 15 minutes of qualifying to decide who will start in pole position for the main race.

The big race lasts a whopping 1 hour and 45 minutes, in which time you’ll tag in and out of the kart with your teammates. The goal is to keep the kart moving while allowing the pilots some time to rest!

This race is an option for anyone over the age of 8, but must be booked as a group of between 12 and 32 people. It’s designed to separate the speedsters from the slow pokes, and the winners will receive medals and champagne!
