Horseback riding in the Verdon - beginners - 1h30

Here is a discovery of the natural and preserved landscapes of Verdon and especially of Lac de Sainte-Croix: a horseback ride specially designed for people wishing to discover this activity, groups of friends and families with children wishing to create splendid memories for life!

Interested? So come to our equestrian center in Salles-sur-Verdon to meet us before starting your 1 hour and a half horseback ride between forest and lakeside. 
The “discovery” walks last, in theory, about an hour, but we have decided to extend your pleasure!

Rest assured, before each ride, you will have a moment of preparation to settle in, receive some advice, get used to the sensations and create a connection with your horse.
A time is also planned at the end of the outing so that you can stay for the care of the horses and have a moment of gentleness with them.

No need to have already practiced an equestrian activity previously, all levels are accepted: it is an equestrian activity particularly designed for beginners, but if you are an experienced rider, you will have just as much fun strolling along the blue waters of Lac de Sainte-Croix. 

Useful information:

• Our equestrian outings are all supervised by qualified instructors who will know how to adjust the ride to the general rhythm so that everyone can get along.
• You must come dressed for the activity: sports clothing, long pants and closed shoes.
• Wearing a bomb is obligatory throughout your walk.
• For horse welfare reasons, we cannot accept riders weighing more than 90 kg.

Let yourself be seduced by the beauty of Lac de Sainte-Croix on the back of one of our horses in the company of your loved ones and a qualified instructor who will guide you to experience two hours of total escape between crystal clear waters and unspoiled nature. 

Rich in contrasts, this horseback ride will take you on a unique route between the freshness of the undergrowth paths, the mangrove, the ochre lands and the desert beaches. 

Conquered? So here is how your outing will take place:

• You will be welcomed to the equestrian center by your instructor, who will give you a short debrief while giving you an introduction to the place.
• Then you will meet your horse and you will have some time to get used to and bond with him. 
• After this important step, you will put on your bomb and set off for two magical hours of horse riding. 
• Back at the center, you can stay to enjoy a moment of tenderness and connection with the horse during the treatments.

Good to know:

• For all our walks, in addition to wearing a bomber jacket, you must wear long pants, comfortable clothes and closed shoes. 
• The maximum weight on a horse is 90 kilograms, for its well-being. 
• We acceptbeginnersand the pace of the ride will be adapted to the level of the group. 
• Please also take something to drink and eat, if necessary.
