The Sanctuary is a former Benedictine monastery which was transformed into a sanctuary by Pope Gregory the Great, then undergoing various modifications by the various dominations and which has now become one of the most valued places of worship of the province of Palermo.
Halfway through the excursion we will stop at approximately 800 meters above sea level, from which we can admire the landscapes and enjoy a quick picnic, before taking the path of the paths that lead to the sanctuary of Gibilmanna.
To take part in this excursion it will be recommended to use shoes that allow movement and long trousers capable of protecting the legs adequately.
