This equestrian trip promises a getaway full of emotions and lasting memories. Your adventure begins at our equestrian centre, where our team of experts will introduce you to your four-legged friend for the evening. After an introduction to horse riding and some safety instructions, we set off for Piton Maïdo, one of the most spectacular viewpoints on the island.
The trail winds through tamarind forest, a unique habitat for endemic species. As you ascend, you will be enchanted by the scent of wild herbs and the chirping of exotic birds. As you reach the summit of Piton Maïdo at an altitude of over 2,200 meters, you will be amazed by the panoramic view of Cirque de Matafe, an uninhabited volcanic caldera accessible only on foot or by air.
But the highlight of the show is undoubtedly the sunset. The sky takes on shades of orange, pink and red as the sun slowly sets behind the horizon, bathing the landscape in golden light. This natural spectacle, combined with the tranquility of the place, creates a magical and romantic atmosphere.
As you descend, you'll be guided by the glow of dusk and the distant lights of St. Paul, adding a touch of adventure to your expedition.

- Our horse can support a maximum of 80 kg.
