Lesson + Horseback riding in the Alta Murgia 2h

Don't miss a two-hour horseback riding experience in the Murgia.
The activity we propose combines learning and discovery of the area! A lesson and a walk for a total of 2 hours!

Your experience begins by arriving at our riding stables, where you will meet our team of instructors who will explain the safety rules to follow during the activity.

The first part is dedicated to a practical lesson in the field, lasting 1 hour, during which you learn the basics of horse management: how to approach safely, the correct posture in the saddle and the fundamental commands for moving with serenity.

After this first training phase, we move on to the second part of the experience: the 1-hour horseback ride in the Murgia.

You leave the camp and slowly enter the natural landscape of the Alta Murgia, between dirt paths and stretches of open countryside.

The route crosses the suggestive Cecibizzo Forest, where the dense vegetation will accompany you in the first sections of the walk.
Coming out of the woods, the landscape opens onto the Murgia plateaus, characterized by pastures and countryside.

We will then continue along the ancient transhumance sheep tracks, historical routes that have seen the passage of flocks for centuries and which are now used for this type of walks.

During our excursion we will also encounter the traditional Jazzi, ancient dry stone structures used for sheltering animals. 
Towards the end we will reach the Church of Naviera di San Magno and we will see the outline of the Castel del Monte on the horizon.

The experience ends with the return to the riding school.
