It seems that now it is fashionable to approach a place where there are volcanoes, due to the excitement and risk after what happened on the island of La Palma. But there is no need to be so intrepid or so reckless, because the magnificence of these sleeping (or not so sleeping) giants can be appreciated equally without entailing any danger.

The most spectacular are those located on certain islands. In the Pacific, in the Mediterranean, in the Indian Ocean and in the Atlantic, in short, in all the oceans on earth. Near where we are, almost two hours by plane from Lisbon or making a stopover from Madrid, is the wonderful island of Porto Santo, a true gift for the senses.

Porto Santo, in the region of Madeira, brings together too many attractions to list in such a short space. But we are going to focus on what we talked about at the beginning of the text: the volcanoes. To do this, we carry out horse excursions, which depart from our equestrian center, whose objective is to reach the Miradouro das Morenos.

There, at the top, children from 5 to 12 years old will observe live how the sea merges with a great infinity of volcanoes. A beautiful picture that they will remember forever even if the years pass. The route ends returning to our school after an hour and a half of raw emotions and unique moments.
