5-day horseback tour Latina/Circeo+room+camp

Give yourself the thrill of taking part in a fascinating journey on horseback in lower Lazio. We will enter the province of Latina to discover the incredible historical-archaeological beauties of the area and the incredible protected territories of the Circeo Natural Park.

A unique opportunity to experience nature and contact with the horse and be able to share the emotions of the journey with friendly and passionate companions.
Your five days will be full of activities to do, starting with your arrival in the evening at the Tornado equestrian center in Norma. Here you will settle the horses and then you will sit in the chosen rooms to then continue with an excellent dinner at the il seminar restaurant of the hotel Villa del Cardinale di Norma where you can meet other travel companions

The first day begins, where you can admire the pre-Roman excavations located in the city of Norba and continue towards the Cyclopean walls.

Once you reach the plain, you arrive at the "Giardino di Ninfa" natural park where participants will take a guided tour of the green oasis made up of the ancient homes of the Caetani nobles and a botanical garden with species of very rare flowers, all framed by a series of streams and lakes with suggestive water features.

Afterwards we will have lunch in the nearby restaurant "L'Oliveto". We will continue the journey along the embankment of the Canale delle Acque Mediae, to reach Latina in the evening. Accommodation of the horses at the “Cristallo” equestrian center, dinner and overnight stay

Ready for a new adventure starting from Latina, you will first travel along the banks of the Canale delle Acque Mediae and then that of the Sisto canal, to reach Pontinia, where you will stop for a packed lunch.

In the afternoon, arrival at the Circeo National Park, in the Cerasella area, in the heart of the Park and immersed in the Sabaudia forest. Meeting with the soldiers of the Horse Department of the State Forestry Corps of Sabaudia who will escort the group to S. Andrea (Sabaudia), home of the Equestrian Rally. VIII Pontine Lands twinning.

Arrival of the participants in the evening; accommodation of horses and riders and pizza offered by the Association; briefing on the gathering and after dinner, on the beach: “Lovers' (surprise) evening”.

On the last two days you will be able to see the Caprolace Lake, have a snack before continuing on paths that extend over the sea, until you reach the mouth of the Rio Martino River.

You will stop at the F.lli De Angelis company for lunch. Continuation from the locality. Bufalara on the beach for about 7 km up to the locality. S. Andrea and return to the Colle Piuccio headquarters. Traditional dinner based on grandmother's bean soup, braciolata etc.

You will conclude this magnificent experience with the last departure towards the center of Sabaudia and, after walking along a stretch of beach, you will cross the Giovanni XXIII bridge on Lake Sabaudia, a parade along the city streets and a Holy Blessing for the horses and riders.

Subsequently the group will return to the base through the embankment of a reclamation canal, where the "dome" lunch will take place. Our journey on horseback will start from Norba, with its mighty city walls, a proud city that was the site of a clash between the Romans and the Volscians, on a plateau on the slopes of the Lepini mountains from where the gaze can sweep across the entire incredible Pontine plain up to the Tyrrhenian Sea.
