Panoramic horseback tour on the Bolognese hills 2h

Come and visit the Bolognese hills from another point of view: riding a horse! We offer you the opportunity to take a 2-hour horseback ride on the Bolognese hills and the Rhine valley.

All you have to do is go to our riding school: here you will find one of our expert equestrian guides who will welcome you, show you the route you will follow and explain how to behave on the horse for your safety and his and what the main riding techniques are. In this regard, we ask you to go 15 minutes before to our equestrian center in Vergato (BO). If you want to watch the horse's preparation, we ask you to arrive further in advance.

From theory to practice: we will spend about ten minutes inside the arena of our riding school, where we can put into practice all the basic commands for managing the horse once you find yourself out for a walk.

Once this part of training is finished, the real adventure will begin: you will leave our riding stables to begin the route lasting 10km. Don't worry, it's also suitable for beginners!

The route includes mountain paths between Vergato and Castelnuovo, totally immersed in the nature of the hills around Bologna and inebriated by its scent. During the walk we will also make some stops at strategic points, to admire the panorama of the Rhine Valley.

With the guide, also considering our experience, you can decide to alternate the walking gait with the trot.

Once the 2 hours are over, you will return to our riding stables.
