Most people enjoy horse riding and would like to be able to ride while admiring beautiful scenery. This is the activity that we are offering you today: a two-hour walk with a competent instructor.

Meet at the equestrian tourism center, an equestrian tourism hub one hour from Aix-en-Provence!

We present to you this activity, which consists of an experience in which you can learn to ride a horse correctly in a natural and extremely pleasant place, which is the municipality of Saint-Étienne-les-Orgues, 35 minutes from Sisteron and in Digne-les-Bains.

In the best conditions, your instructor will teach you everything you need to know about horses. You will approach a horse, treat it and equip it. The instructor will show you the basics of horse riding, especially in an exotic natural setting.

We offer this horseback riding trip for a whole day departing from our equestrian tourism center. Located in Saint-Étienne-les-Orgues, in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, we have a natural and preserved environment with diverse and varied landscapes which will leave you breathless. Come in contact with nature and animals just one hour from Aix-en-Provence!

Our horses are docile, kind and used to walks, thanks to them, you will experience a day full of sensations!

Program of your day on horseback:

We will meet you at our center at 8:30 a.m. in Saint-Étienne-les-Orgues. Your instructor will give you a warm welcome!
You will get to know each other together, then you will be able to equip the horses with rugs, saddles, stirrups, etc.
You will equip yourself with a bomb to protect your head, then your instructor and guide will give you a briefing on the course of the day, the planned route, the instructions to follow and the safety rules to respect.

The big start is at 9:30 a.m.! Go for a superb day in the wild lands of Ongles and the surrounding area. You will do a total of six hours of walking during which you will take a short picnic break.

Take advantage of this day in the south of France to discover the most beautiful panoramas between plain and mountain. You will see sublime viewpoints, accompanied by your guide and your horse with whom you will create a unique bond during this discovery outing.
Feel the magical sensations of freedom and escape as you gallop across the great wild plains...

Finally, you will return to the equestrian tourism center to remove your equipment and let the horses rest. You will debrief with the group and share your experience and your feelings about this unforgettable day.
