The first time we only booked 30 minutes because the 6 year old can't ride on her own yet (she was guided) and because an adult has never ridden before.
First, everyone was allowed to lead their own horse to the arena themselves, then we climbed up with the help of a staircase, took a few steps on the arena, tightened the saddles again if necessary, and then we were asked whether everything was OK with everyone.
