For 5 and a half hours, and with 12.5km ahead, you will be able to discover the highest peaks on the island. This ancient road crosses the great Madeira mountain range, which awaits the highest peaks. Your mind will take beautiful photographs of the incredible views over Curral de las Freiras, Paul Serra, Encumeada, Serra de Agua, Ribeira Brava and Funchal.
This is a hiking route with a high degree of difficulty, and the use of special footwear or mountain boots is recommended so that you are as safe as possible against possible slips.
